The Federal Institute for risk assessment (BfR) has issued an opinion to the risks of Energy Drinks for young people. This warns of an increased health risk for the cardiovascular system, if an excessive number of Energy Drinks are consumed in a short period of time. "Many do not know that additional consumption of alcohol or strenuous physical activity increase the undesirable effects of caffeine more."
